| An introductory workshop that prepares the leaner to understand the theoretical and practical components of aircraft composites. Topics covered are manufacturing techniques, reinforcement fibres, matrix materials and core materials. Hands-on instruction for the proper use of equipment, techniques and safe practices is provided. Although this course is taught by aviation craftsmen, the skills learned may be applied to various projects not related to aviation. Projects will be used to demonstrate the practical application of the skills demonstrated. This Course is also aimed at the home builders that want to develop composite skills. |
