AERO-107 Aircraft Metal Structures 1
An introductory workshop that prepares the student to understand the theoretical and practical components of aircraft metal structures. Topics covered are aircraft structural materials, layout and forming techniques, bend allowances, hand tools, fasteners and rivets. Hands-on instruction for the proper use of equipment, techniques and safe practices is provided. Although this course is taught by aviation craftsmen, the skills learned may be applied to a variety of projects not related to aviation. A project will be built to demonstrate the practical application of the skills demonstrated. Course fee includes all materials.
